Candy is The Hockey Museum’s first volunteer to have joined us from Hong Kong. She initially joined to offer administrative support to the Museum’s small staff team before progressing into other areas following her appointment to a full-time job with Surrey County Council.

Candy says, "Volunteering definitely helped me to get settled in UK and The Hockey Museum allows me to learn about a traditional British sport".

As an experienced administrator professionally, on committees and in education, she contributes her knowledge and skills under her roles as the Secretary to the Board of Trustees as well as the Project Manager for the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee.

Besides volunteering, she also enjoys playing piano, travelling and cooking.
